To speed up discovery and impact health, we must transform our approach to science. Innovations in biomedical science and big data technology have brought hope, and are powered by a new way of doing science: Open Science. This is the concept of freely sharing research data and materials, and removing barriers to collaboration.
We welcome you to engage and exchange around Open Science in action at The Neuro and beyond.
Meet and learn from national and international experts on intellectual property protocols, ethics, patient consent and engagement, pharma, neuroinformatics, and more!

On first glance, art and the study of Alzheimer’s may not seem to have much in common. But as we’ll see, there are many common threads woven between creative expression and neurodegenerative disease. Please join the McGill Society of Montreal and The Neuro for a fascinating evening on how researchers are bridging the gap between Art and Alzheimer's. Professor Alan C. Evans, world-renowned scientist at The Neuro, and Dr. AmanPreet Badhwar, neuroscientist and artist, will discuss how art provides a unique perspective into the better understanding of brain function.
This insightful event for McGill alumni, parents and friends will be followed by a reception with light refreshments and live music, and an exhibition of neuroscience-inspired artworks to take place in The Neuro's new Healing Garden.
