Title: Research Scientist

The Company: NeuroRx Research is a leader in advanced brain image analysis and project management for clinical trials, servicing the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities: The selected individual will be expected to:

  • Develop and integrate leading edge image analysis techniques for brain MRI.
  • Provide analysis and visualizations of MRI imaging outcomes for large population based studies.
  • Participate in the publication of manuscripts in relevant journals and conferences.
  • Document, test and validate software according to standard operating procedures and regulatory compliance.

Education: The candidate should have a graduate degree in biomedical / electrical / computer engineering, computer science, medical physics or equivalent and should have experience in development of image processing tools and pipelines as relates to structural analysis of brain MRI.

Skills: The candidate must be comfortable in a Linux environment with proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB. Knowledge of R, C/C++ and experience in team software development would be assets. Record of journal publications, experience with statistical analysis, and knowledge of multiple sclerosis would also be considered assets. Good knowledge of English is valuable.

The candidate must be eligible to work in Canada. The salary will be competitive, based on qualifications and experience.
